The Viz managed Naruto destination site has begun streaming the last eight subtitled episodes of the first Naruto series (#216-220) before the official debut of Naruto Shippuden on January 2nd with the first eight English subtitled episodes of the aforementioned series on the site after the last original Naruto episode airs.
Crunchyroll will then begin to distribute Naruto Shippuden to paid subscribers in HD on January 8th starting with the 91st episode which is the beginning of the Sanbi Shutsugen story arc going forward.
CrunchyRoll, Joost, Hulu, and Naruto.com will be streaming lower-quality versions beginning on January 18th for free.
